Happy Holidays from JSK!

We wish all our friends, collaborators and audience a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a year 2020 has been. Jo Strømgren Kompani (JSK) started off the year by premiering THE BREAKDOWN at The Norwegian Opera House to great reviews and huge international interest.
When we had the first lockdown in March, JSK created CORONA SESSIONS, a series of 30 art films based on improvised meetings between artists. What a rewarding way to communicate and present art in the midst of these challenging times, with a total of 235 000 views so far!

Altough we have been lucky to be able to tour and present some of our work, more than 70 performances have been cancelled this year. Amongst these were SALVE REGINA at the prestigious Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro de Bogotá in Colombia and COCO CHANEL Centro de Las Artesi in Santiago.

We look forward to kick off 2021 with THERE at The Norwegian Opera House in February. We are also preparing for a new puppet theatre piece, and a new dance piece to premiere spring 2022.
