THE DOOR - Wins Highest Theater Honor in Lithuania

THE DOOR was awarded four of the prestigious Golden Stage Crosses in Lithuania, Friday 29th of March. The award is the highest cultural recognition in Lithuania, and is given by the Ministry of Culture.

THE DOOR was the most winning performance, which premiered in October 2018 in Vilnius. The Golden Stage Cross Commission awarded Jo Strømgren the Best Choreographer of the Year. Also prizes were awarded to actor Rytis Saladžius for the best actor, Vilius Vilutis for the best light design and Goda Palekaitė for the best scenography for THE DOOR. We are so grateful for this honor!

THE DOOR is a co-production with Lithuanian National Drama Theater, and will show next on Saturday 6th of April.
