FOOTBALL FEVER - Italy and Mexico tour and a new version!
Our dance tribute to football kicks off the 2026 World Cup this spring on tour in Italy and Mexico! Also, a new premiere in Trondheim at Nye Hjorten Teater!
This April and May, we’re on tour with A Dance Tribute to the Art of Football — our quirky and humorous interpretation of football through dance has toured the world, even winning over the most skeptical theatre-goers and inviting them to let go and join in.
We begin in Italy this and next week, performing in Casale Monferrato, Verbania, and Genova. These stages offer a strong starting point for the tour, and we look forward to sharing the work with Italian audiences. A collaboration with Live Arts Management in Italy.
In May, we are excited to continue to Mexico, performing in Mexico City and León Guanajuato, where we have been invited to take part in the artistic build-up to the upcoming World Cup.
At the same time, at the new Norwegian theatre in Trondheim – Nye Hjorten Teater we will premiere a new version of this piece 5th of May with 6 dancers on stage! Artistic director Mads Bones is thrilled that Jo Strømgren is coming to create a new, updated version of his original success.
