The performance
The Ministry of Unresolved Feelings has scarce resources but an important mission. The caseworkers are responsible for solving problems that no other agencies can remedy. The paper stacks in the incoming tray grow ever higher, but a surprisingly high number of applicants have their cases reviewed.
“The Ministry of Unresolved Feelings” is the third piece Jo Strømgren created for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, this time aimed at teenagers and young adults. The creation is a part of GöteborgsOperan Skapa dans; GöteborgsOperans Danskompani’s creative activities for participation and learning.
Jo Strømgren has previously created Herzschmerz (2009) and Utkanten (2011) for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani.
