JSK for kids in Copenhagen
This week our children’s production The Kitchen will be part of the amazing SpringFestival in Copenhagen, an international theatre festival for children and young people. We will have performances both for school classes and for the general audience at ZeBU at Amager Kulturpark.
For six days, SpringFestival transform the entire Amager Kulturpunkt to a Mecca of theatre, dance, modern circus and other types of performing arts intended for children and young people. SpringFestival 2016 present a wide selection of genres within modern performing arts for children and young people: speech-based shows, dance shows, musical theatre shows, performance theatre, puppet theatre and productions that utilise the electronic media.
Jo Strømgren Kompani will be attending the festival with 4 performances of our success production The Kitchen. After more than 300 performances since the premiere in 2013, The Kitchen is by now one of our most performed shows through all times. It has had successful runs at schools, theatres and festivals all over Norway, as well as at festivals in Finland and Iceland. We are now happy to add another country to the touring list and excited about our new Danish version of this production.
The Kitchen will perform Thursday 26th to Saturday 28th May. For the full festival programme, check out SpringFestivals webpage.
