Czech-Norwegian Ping Pong project

This spring Jo Strømgren Kompani has a collaboration project with Czech dance company 420PEOPLE and the festival TANECVALMEZ, including both A DANCE TRIBUTE TO PING PONG and A DANCE TRIBUTE TO THE ART OF FOOTBALL.

420PEOPLE is the company of Nataša Novotná and Václav Kuneš. They are both great dancers with experience from one of the most prestigious dance companies in the world, the Netherlands Dans Theatre.
TANECVALMEZ is a contemporary dance festival run by Milada Borovi?ková and Petr Borovi?ka Sr., held in the Czech city Valašské Mezi?í?í. This is the 8th edition of the festival and the performances take place outdoors in the Žerotín château courtyard.

This Czech-Norwegian project will result in a Czech version of A DANCE TRIBUTE TO PING PONG, performed by 420PEOPLE at TANECVALMEZ in June. At this festival Jo Strømgren Kompani’s dancers will also perform A DANCE TRIBUTE TO THE ART OF FOOTBALL.
