THE BORDER AT THE OPERA

Our acclaimed performance THE BORDER will this week form part of the summer programme at our home stage in Oslo – The Norwegian Opera and Ballet. Jo Strømgren will perform himself at the premiere on August 5th.

Jørn-Bjørn Fuller Gee will do this character on the other nights, whereas Sigrid Edvardsson will play the female part all nights.

THE BORDER premiered fall 2011, as a collaboration between Jo Strømgren Kompani and Hålogaland Teater and in a co-production with Agder Teater. The performance has toured in countries such as Russia, South Africa, China, Denmark, Finland and Macedonia – as well as in Norway, where it was well-received throughout the country:
