Rehearsals started at the Opera House

This week the original 2001 cast of THERE has started rehearsals at the Opera House. Thorbjørn Harr, Jan Ivar Lund, Espen Reboli Bjerke and Kyrre Texnæs can be seen at Scene 2 in June, re-doing the show they performed more than a 100 times, to great acclaim, in the early 2000s.

Last autumn we revived our 2001 success THERE with a new cast. This spring it is time for the four original performers to get lost in the interzonal area between East and West.
Thorbjørn Harr, Jan Ivar Lund, Espen Reboli Bjerke and Kyrre Texnæs have this week started rehearsing the choreographies they performed to great success all over the world at the beginning of the millennium. And even though it is many years ago, the moves are definitely still intact. New York Times wrote about THERE in 2003: “The result is impressive ensemble work from four performers whose look of unforced, alert connection adds to the mystery and sadness”, and called the ensemble “remarkable performers”.
So we can promise a revival with all the qualities from the original success, but with the perfection and intensity you get from 14 years of maturing.

The original cast will perform at The Norwegian Opera House from 3rd to 9th June and in Copenhagen 13th June as part of CPH STAGE festival .
